Coronavirus has been a weird period where we have seen a lot of innovation that happened only because of this pandemic.
We have seen face masks that have zippers, facial prints, designs, and other crazy stuff. We even saw a face mask made of pure gold (yeah … WTF right )
We also saw some innovative solutions like a touchless sanitizer machine, a UV box to sanitize mobiles and vegetables. We also saw immunity-boosting foods like chyawanprash, Kadha, turmeric latte, etc.
But the product I am going to talk about today takes the cake for the most innovative and weird product that came out of COVID 19.
This is the icecream from Amul called Immuno Chakra which claims to have properties to increase your immunity and fight Corona.
Isn’t this a dream? Fighting corona while enjoying icecream?
I was intrigued when I saw this ice-cream that was kept in a transparent rectangular refrigerator. However, I was unsure if I should give a try because of the ingredients written on it.

But as the saying goes … Curiosity killed the cat!
So I decided to take the plunge. I bought the ice-cream, removed the wrapper, and hesitantly stretched my tongue for the first lick expecting a bitter taste.
But boy was I pleasantly surprised.
Amul has somehow used flavors like Tulsi, Haldi, and ginger which are not known for their taste. And yet they have created an ice-cream that is surprisingly tasty.
In the chakra, the yellow strip has the Haldi flavor while the brownish-white strip has ginger flavor. The green circle in the middle has tulsi flavor. All these flavors combined with milk cream and sugar give a taste that is very similar to a THANDAI ( a flavored milkshake )
The icecream cost INR 15/-. For the price you get an ice-cream with the goodness of immunity-boosting ingredients.
One thing is guaranteed if you choose to have this ice-cream. It is one of a kind ice cream flavor that you will remember for a long time.
So to conclude, I am not sure how effective this icecream is towards increasing immunity but the flavor is definitely unique and you can have this ice cream with less guilt.
After all, you should fight corona with all the tools you can get your hands on .. and this is a tasty tool you should not miss.
