In today’s fast-paced life, we need everything on the go, especially food & drinks. Who has the time today to squeeze an orange and drink the juice… No … we just buy a tetra pack of Tropicana, Real and consume it as we go. But there was one particular drink that still didn’t make it to the packaged drink.

The Coconut Water

A lot of companies have tried in the past but failed to make a drink that tastes and feels like the original one. I remember a company that made powdered coconut water that one should mix in water and drink. And boy it was horrible.

So a few weeks back I saw a beautiful looking bottle made by Paperboat that read Coconut Water and I was instantly curious about how it tasted.

So here’s my review on the Paperboat Coconut Water and how does it fare with the original one.

Whats good

  • The packaging is compact and very attractive. It can easily hide in your bag or even a ladies purse. So mobility is top notch
  • The taste is good and very close to the original drink
  • The price ( INR 40/- for 200 ml )

What could be better

  • The quantity should be at least 250 ml
  • There is an aftertaste that lingers on your tongue that reminds you that this is not fresh and is preserved. It’s not very strong unlike the earlier experiments but it’s still there.

Final Verdict

The Paperboat Coconut water is the closest in the taste of the original and I can say I would happily carry this along in the scorching heat as my drink. It is also a better alternative to the other unhealthy carbonated drinks out there in the market.

Good Job Paperboat !!
